Ensemble

Founded in 2000, the instrumentalists of the Dolci Accenti ensemble come from different artistic backgrounds and have specialised in performing the musical repertoire of the 17th and 18th centuries. The ensemble deepens its study and research on original sources of the period and plays on copies of historical instruments, paying particular attention to both instrumental and vocal music.

Dolci Accenti has been a guest at prestigious festivals and institutions in Italy and abroad, performing in Romania (Sighisoara Festival, Barockcada Festival), Lithuania (Lietuvos Musikos Akademia), Germany (Consulate in Wolfsburg), Spain (Zaragoza, Palma de Mallorca), the Czech Republic (Festival Barocknich Umeni) and at renowned Italian events such as the Ravenna Festival and Magie Barocche.

The ensemble’s musicians work regularly with the most important Italian and international baroque groups (including I Barocchisti, Venice Baroque Orchestra, Radio Svizzera Italiana) and have a rich recording career for major international labels such as Sony, Brilliant Classics, Naxos, Deutsche Grammophon, Stradivarius and Tactus.
