2019 is a very important moment for the Dolci Accenti association, as it marks the birth of the first International Early Music Festival, “Note senza tempo”, in the city of Sassari.

Thanks to the valuable contribution of the Fondazione di Sardegna, of a number of sponsors and to the sensitivity of the institutions, we were able to organise the first edition: a concert season of seven concerts, a masterclass dedicated to early music and the participation of about eighty artists, filling a cultural gap in Sardinia, especially in Sassari. The protagonists were internationally renowned musicians, but also young local talents taking their first steps towards a professional concert career. The international reach of the event has given, in these years and beyond Italian borders, a picture of Sardinia that reflects its cultural and architectural aspects, rather than the beauty of its coasts, for which it is already known and appreciated.

The Association succeeds in building a network with the island’s various musical institutions, with the P.L. da Palestrina conservatory in Cagliari, the “L. Canepa” conservatory in Sassari, the “D.A. Azuni” music high school, the Società Bachiana Italiana and many other organisations, as well as with international early music festivals such as the Festivalul Baroc in Timisoara (Romania), Brianza Festival, Barocco Europeo, the early music festival of Syracuse, Barockada (Romania), the Festival de Música Antiga de Caimari (Spain), the Musica a Palazzo festival in Caltanissetta and others.

Since 2022 it has been a member of the European network REMA, which brings together more than 250 major European early music festivals.
