Privacy and cookie policy

(EU Regulation 2016/679 – GDPR)

This policy describes how the website is managed with regard to the processing of the personal data of users who visit it and interact with the web services accessible from the Controller’s official address.

1. Data controller

The controller of the personal data collected through this website is:

2. Types of data collected

The personal data that may be collected through this website, directly or through third parties, include:

  • Data voluntarily provided by the user: name, email address and any other information voluntarily entered in the contact form (for example, to request information about concerts, festivals, masterclasses or teaching activities).
  • Browsing data: IP addresses, domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, times of requests and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computing environment. These data are used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the site.

3. Purposes of processing

The user’s data are collected and processed exclusively for the following purposes:

  • To reply to requests for contact, information or collaboration sent through the form on the site.
  • To ensure the correct technical operation and security of the website.
  • To comply with legal obligations under European and national law.

4. Legal basis for processing

The Controller processes the user’s personal data where one of the following conditions applies:

  • The user has given consent for one or more specific purposes (for example, by voluntarily sending a message through the contact form).
  • Processing is necessary for the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures agreed with the user.

5. Processing methods and retention

Processing is carried out using computer and/or telematic tools, with organisational methods strictly related to the stated purposes. Personal data are kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected (for example, handling the contact request) or in accordance with the periods required by applicable law.

6. Sharing and disclosure of data

The data collected will never be sold, disclosed or communicated to third parties for commercial or marketing purposes. They may be accessible only to internal persons in charge of managing the site or to third-party technical service providers (such as the site’s hosting provider), who are, where necessary, formally appointed as Data Processors.

7. Rights of the data subject

In accordance with the GDPR, users have the right to exercise the following rights at any time:

  • Access to their personal data.
  • Rectification or erasure (right to be forgotten) of data.
  • Restriction of or objection to processing.
  • Data portability.
  • Withdrawal of previously given consent.

To exercise these rights, users may send a written communication directly to the Controller’s email address indicated in point 1 of this policy.

8. Cookies used by this site

This site does not use profiling, statistical (for example Google Analytics) or marketing (for example Meta/Facebook Pixel) cookies, and does not install any third-party service for advertising or tracking purposes. Only technical cookies, indispensable for the operation of the site, are used, for which the law does not require the user’s prior consent:

  • WordPress session cookies (for example wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-*): used exclusively to allow the Controller to access the site’s administration area. They are not set for normal visitors of the site.
  • Technical cache cookie (LiteSpeed Cache): used to optimise the performance and loading times of the site, without collecting identifying data about the user.

Since the site does not use cookies that require consent, there is no consent banner. If statistical analysis or marketing tools are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly and the user’s consent will be requested where necessary.

9. Google Maps

In the Contact section the Google map is not loaded automatically: it is requested from Google’s servers only after the user explicitly clicks the “Show the map” button. Until then, no data is transmitted to Google. After the click, Google’s own policy and cookies apply.
